Born and raised in the city of Addis Ababa (New Flower) until the age of 13. Ruphael began his interest in soccer at the age of 7 at which he started playing soccer for the youth program of Juventus Club Addis https://www.facebook.com/Circolo-Sportivo-Juventus- Addis-Abeba-244210492311414 in his hometown from 1986-1992. He played throughout his childhood at various levels and at college years. Business Studies/ Administration & Accounts. ACCA – Part Qualified.
With amazing support from his partner Deborah, mother of his 2 children Jacob & Jeremiah, family members and committed close friends, Katanga started by participating in a mid-week & weekend leagues in Greater London, Europe, and America football tournaments from 2008-2018.
Ruphael is energetic, fun, skillful, enthusiastic, and self-motivated person who loves teaching different types of exciting and challenging lessons across ages U5s-U18s & Adults. He has a very good communication skills and pride himself in building excellent relationships with players, parents, and colleagues. Motivates players to do reading and homework so that they can excel in school and on the playing field. Football has taught him respect, responsibility, discipline, teamwork, leadership, and commitment. He is lifelong learner and can play an active role in the continual development of high-quality sessions in Katanga FC.
