Sam B G/Kirstos

Born and raised in Addis Ababa (Ethiopia) & Asmara (Eritrea) until the age of 11. Samrawit has been involved in football since the age of 6. Her brother encouraged her at a young age to master the ball. When she was 14 years of age she started as a youth academy player and joined the U15s Tottenham Hotspur team. Played for Tottenham for 9 seasons, then joined another local team called MSA Ladies. Samrawit started her coaching career when she was 16. She completed the FA level 1 coaching course. Following this she went on to do her UEFA C and then eventually her UEFA B License. During her time as a coach, she coached local school teams, a few women’s team such as Hackney Wick WFC, MSA Ladies and coached in USA for over 6 months. Samrawit became a FA Coach Mentor as she really enjoyed working with new coaches to help them develop their skills and provide constant support. Samrawit worked for the FA as a coach mentor for a couple of years. As football is her passion, she enjoys all aspects of the beautiful game and decided to do a course to become a referee who holds a Level 6 Referee Badge and currently refs Weekend Leagues and County Cup Games.

Samrawit B has a B.A. (Honors) Business Tourism Management, and she currently holds a UEFA B License, Youth Award Module 1, FA Coach Mentor, FA Coaches Club, Referee Level 6. Child Safeguarding First Aid, FA This extensive educational background creates a unique perspective on her coaching philosophy and style.
